Twenty-Six episodes of Crime and Peter Chambers, starring Dane Clark, were broadcast by NBC between April 6 and September 28, 1954. Jimmy Stewart never appeared as a guest on any of these shows. He did, however, appear immediately after the ending of the May 4th episode, usually titled Abigail Chrisenberry or Peter Chambers, Murder Suspect, but, according to this listing in the Brainerd Daily Dispatch, Brainerd, MN, is actually titled Find the Killer.
Stewart’s purpose was to deliver a 60-second promo spot for his own series, The Six Shooter. Here is his message:
