Hollywood reporter Dick Allen interviews a few of the stars of How the West Was Won, including Jimmy Stewart, John Wayne, Carolyn Jones, Debbie Reynolds and George Peppard. The interviews were recorded at the C.P. MacGregor Studio in Los Angeles. The tape boxes have two dates listed – February 11th and 16th, 1963. Just who was interviewed on each of these dates is not listed. If discs or tapes copies of the interviews were prepared and sent to radio stations, no information on them has yet been found.
Although not in general circulation, the tapes are available at the Library of Congress.
