In Jimmy Stewart on the Air, we documented Jimmy Stewart’s appearance on the Breakfast Club broadcast of November 11, 1958. Here is a newspaper ad for that show. It is from the Monday, November 10, 1958, edition of the Portsmouth Times, Portsmouth, OH:
We can now confirm that Stewart had also been a guest on the show on an earlier date – January 29, 1954. The proof for this appearance comes from an article which appeared in the Indiana Evening Gazette, Indiana, Pa, on that date:
Unfortunately, like the later show, this one is not available.
