Since the publication of Jimmy Stewart on the Air, we have been able to identify an additional appearance of Jimmy Stewart on Hedda Hopper’s Diary. The program was advertised in the Capital Journal, Salem, OR, on the broadcast date of November 5, 1945.
The program is not available, but according to the ad, it was in support of the Victory Loan Drive. Strewart was interviewed as were Bing Crosby, Lew Ayres, Mickey Rooney, Clark Gable, Anne Baxter and Bob Hope.
