Jimmy Stewart appeared on the Bing Crosby radio show many time between 1948 and 1953. and each time was a special treat as the pair worked together very well. Stewart’s ten appearances are well documented in Jimmy Stewart on the Air, but some materials not in the book are included here.
His first appearance came on Bing’s Philco Radio Time program of March 10, 1948. At that time the Crosby show was being delivered to radio stations on 16-inch transcription discs.

In the first part of the Crosby-Stewart skit, Bing does his very best to sell Jimmy on getting married. He even goes so far as to marry him himself…and…go on a honeymoon to Niagara Falls.
Jimmy still isn’t sold on the idea and tells Bing his secret for having stayed single so long.
