Two different newspaper listings confirm Stewart as a guest on this day’s Monitor program. The first is from the New York Times and the second from the Herald-Post, El Paso, TX.
Like so many of the Monitor programs, this one is not available, so we don’t know the nature of Stewart’s visit. It is known that during this period of time, the hosts for NBC Monitor were Frank Blair and Don Russell. Al Capstaff was the show’s executive producer.
