New York Closeup was hosted by Jinx Falkenburg and Tex McCrary and, in fact was usually shown as Tex and Jinx in newspaper listings. The one-hour NBC program was broadcast mornings beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Although his name doesn’t appear in the following New York Times listing, Jimmy Stewart was a guest on the show on May 19, 1953.
Mr. Stewart was in town for the opening of his latest film, Thunder Bay.
The show is not in general circulation, but is part of the NBC Collection at the Library of Congress.
