When The Spirit of St. Louis soundtrack was re-issued on CD in 1988 by Varese Sarabande, it turns out that it was also issued in cassette format by the label (VSC-5212).
Both the CD and cassette are now difficult to find and command higher prices than you would have paid for them in 1988.
