This blog entry will update an entry from Jimmy Stewart on the Air by adding photos and audio. Reach Out the Future is in Your Hands was Stewart’s second effort for the American Legion, following the previous years’ 50th Anniversary spots. This 1970 recording (AAVP#27185/AAVP#27186) was issued on a 12-inch 33 1/3 RPM disc:
Stewart has just one 60-spot on the album, while others had two or even three. Others appearing on the album besides those seen on the label are: Mel Allen, Bing Crosby, MacDonald Carey, Peter Graves and Leif Erickson.
