When we came across this short news blurb in the September 18, 1940, edition Motion Picture Daily, we couldn’t resist including it in a blog.
Prior to World War II, all call letters for plane radios were five letters long and began with “KH.” What other three letters would Mr. Stewart choose but “JIM?”
Although it’s not the kind of radio broadcast normally presented here, wouldn’t it have been great to listen in on some of the conversations transmitted over this radio.
