October 13th through October 19th, 1952, was designated “Pennsylvania Week” by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Commerce. A special 16-inch transcription disc, featuring civic announcements from sixteen famous Pennsylvanians was prepared and distributed to radio stations.
