When we posted our first blog on June 5, 2015, we had no idea what to expect. We knew that there were people out there, like you, who loved Jimmy Stewart. But would you have any interest in his radio career? Would you continue to come back day after day to check for new blogs and new information? We knew you would love posts with new and/or unusual audio. But, would you also appreciate posts with no audio at all – just newspaper and magazine clippings about a particular program? The answer was a resounding yes. In just a little over 36 weeks, the blog has passed the 100,000 hit mark!
Would you lose interest after time? I think that we got our answer to that question on “Super Bowl Sunday.” On a day when millions of people were gearing up for the big game, more than 6000 of you took the time to visit our blog page.
So again, thank you very much for your interest and loyalty. There is still a lot to come, including audio for many shows that we know you have never heard before and a few surprises, too. We can tell you that we will continue to post new blogs at least into December of this year. At that point we will have published more than 650 blogs and reached the limits of Mr. Stewart’s radio and recording career. As always, we will continue to search for new and unusual material and, if we are lucky enough to find any, we will post it immediately.
